Finn Harps have confirmed the signings of Bernardo Monteiro, Perrault Tokam and Alex Fanle ahead of the 2026 First Division campaign.

The trio sign after successful trial periods, with Monteiro and Tokam playing against Sligo Rovers and Galway United, while Fanle also starred in the win over Sligo.

Bernardo Monteiro, a 26 year old winger, began his career in his native Portugal. He then made the move to America, playing Division 1 football with Florida International University. The attacker earned All-Conference First Team honours during his time with the Panthers.

Perrault Tokam, a midfielder by trade, is a product of the BSC Young Boys Academy. The former Swiss underage international has since spent time in Switzerland and Greece before arriving at Finn Park ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Alex Fanle, a French defender, is the third new arrival to be confirmed for 2026. The 21 year-old most recently played with ASPTT Dijon.

Harps Manager Kevin McHugh told club media: “We’re really excited to add the three lads to the group. Myself and the coaching staff have always said that we’ll only bring in players who add to what we have. They’ve all been in with us for a few weeks at this stage and have impressed us with their ability as football players but also as people.

We identified positions where we needed a bit more depth and quality and the three lads fit the bill. They’re all excited to be here and play for this football club and the community. I’m looking forward to working with them now for the season to come and I’m sure the fans will make them feel welcome.”

Finn Harps begin their First Division campaign away to Athlone Town on February 13.
