St Columba’s trio line out for Ireland U-18s in Schools International Assessments

Three students from St Columba’s College, Stranorlar, took part in International Assessments for the Republic of Ireland Under-18 Schools team.

Eamonn McBride, Declan Patton and Peter Sweeney are all students at the Stranorlar school who were part of two trial periods in December and January.

The squad is being assembled for the Annual SAFIB Centenary Shield competition that begins in March.

Two teams played against each other at the home of UCD AFC in Belfield on Saturday.

The trio were also part of the Finn Harps Under-17 team that lifted the National LOI Academy Shield title in November after a 3-0 win over Drogheda United.
