The Donegal Town Under-16 side
The Donegal Town Under-16s have a home semi-final in the All-Ireland SFAI Trophy this Sunday against Offaly side Clara Town at the Hospital Field (kick-off 3.15pm).
The Donegal side have come out on top in a number of close encounters, but THEY have battled well to reach the semi-finals.
A 2-1 away win over Monaghan Town saw them rewarded with back-to-back home ties against Verona FC of Dublin, where they won 2-0 thanks to goals from Aiden Molloy and Ryan Gee, before a 2-1 win over Carrigtwohill United from Cork.
Iarla Cassidy grabbed both goals in the quarter-final win over Carrigtwohill, the second coming in the form of the winner from the penalty spot.
