Amber Barrett celebrate at the final whistle
Milford native Amber Barrett scored a stunning late equalizer for FC Köln to seal a 1-1 draw against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim tonight - her first goal of the season in the Frauen Bundesliga.
The 26-year-old, on her second league start this season, levelled the match up five minutes from time, to cancel out the opening goal on 10 minutes from Austrian striker Nicole Billa.

To put the result in perspective, Hoffenheim had hammered FC Köln 6-1, 4-0 and 5-0 in the last four seasons. The result means FC Köln are seventh in the 12-team top-flight, having been promoted last season and Hoffenheim remain in third place, level on points with Bayern Munich and one point off leaders VfL Wolfsburg.
Barrett is a former Gaelic footballer with Donegal and made the switch to Germany from Peamount United. She is a Republic of Ireland international who has been capped 26 times and scored four goals.
