Amber Barrett has 26 Republic of Ireland caps and four goals
Having netted her a late equalizer for FC Köln to seal a 1-1 draw against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on Friday night, Amber Barrett has been named on the Frauen Bundesliga team of the week.
The Milford native, who played county football for Donegal seniors, bagged first goal of the season in some style on Friday night and made the Elfen Magazon selection on the right-hand side of a front three.
The 26-year-old, on her second league start this season, levelled the match up five minutes from time, to cancel out the opening goal on 10 minutes from Austrian striker Nicole Billa.
Barrett formerly played for Peamount United in Dublin and is a current Republic of Ireland international, most recently scoring the 10th goal in their 10-0 win over Georgia at Tallaght Stadium in November.
