Carr’s goal in the closing stages sealed a place in the final for Abbey, managed by Mark Young and Leo Gallagher.
St Eunan's danger man Sean Patton was carefully watched throughout the early stages with Daniel McIntyre and Aaron McGrory making life difficult for the forward.
Going forward for the Abbey Ruairi McLaughlin was very bright in the early stages and both teams just lacked the killer instinct with their final delivery.
St Eunan's College
As the game opened up both teams searched hard for a breakthrough but the defences held firm.
The breakthrough came with just under 10 minutes to go when Seanan Carr latched onto a ball on the edge of the box before beating his man and slotting home.
St Eunan's pushed hard in the last 10 minutes but it was to be the Abbey's day.
