Dale Gorman has signed for Barnet
Dale Gorman says he ‘can’t wait’ for the new National League season to get underway after signing for Barnet.
The 26-year-old Letterkenny man was confirmed by the Bees this weekend.
Gorman moves to The Hive Stadium having been at Yeovil Town last season.
“I am pleased to finally get the deal sorted as it has been spoken about for a while now,” Gorman said.
“After hearing Dean Brennan and the owner’s targets for the year, it made me want to become a part of it.
“I will always give my all for the shirt and I like to get on the ball and make things happen.
“I cannot wait to get going now and look forward to being involved in some of the pre-season friendlies coming up soon.”
Gorman moved to Stevenage from Letterkenny Rovers in 2013 and he stayed there until a move to Leyton Orient in 2018.
Gorman spent the 2020-21 term at Glentoran before going to Yeovil last summer.
Capped by Northern Ireland at under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels, Gorman could prove a useful acquisition by Brennan.
The Barnet boss said: “Dale fits into what we are trying to create here and he is coming to our football club for all the right reasons.
“We are looking to be ambitious this season and the Chairman has really supported us this summer.”
