Gweedore Celtic are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Kevin Friel from the hotseat.
Friel has stepped down after five years at the helm at An Screaban.
Friel took over in 2016 having won the Premier Division in 2011 and the Brian McCormick Sports Cup three times as a player.
In the 2021/22 season, Gweedore Celtic finished sixth in the Temple Domestic Appliances Division 1.
Friel has also served as the Gweedore Celtic club secretary and will remain on the executive.
“During his tenure he oversaw a huge change in the playing squad, bringing through a lot of youth from our academy and unfortunately missing out on a play-off position on two occasions during his time in charge,” Gweedore Celtic said.
“All at Ceiltigh Ghaoth Dobhair wish to thank Kevin for his time and commitment during his time as first team manager.”
