The Donegal Weather Channel is reporting that over 20 cars are stuck on Meenaroy, between Letterkenny and Fintown, with cars also going off the road at Glengesh, between Ardara and Glencolmcille.

"Heavy showers have lead to snow accumulations on Glengesh Sunday afternoon with icy and slushy condations report on the mountain road. A few cars also reported to have gone of the road."

Gritters are expected at both. The weather tonight is expected to see some icy conditions, which will lead to hazardous driving conditions.
