Former Donegal star Diane McGlynn has been named on the first ever Irish International Rules Over 40s squad for the upcoming March series with their visiting Australian counterparts.
The Glenfin girl and the rest of her Irish teammates square off against the Aussies in two tests, Saturday, March 9 and Saturday, March 16 with the games taking place in Mullagh GAA Club, Galway, and Denn GFC, Cavan.
Michael Moyles, former Mayo GAA player and former Mayo LGFA manager, is joined by another ex Donegal LGFA legend on the sideline, Maria Devenney, while former Tipperary Ladies Football captain, Samantha Lambert, and UL GAA Ladies manager, DJ Collins are also on the backroom team.
This experienced team will be assisted by Ladies International Rules Officer, Eamon O'Brien of Laois Gaelic Masters.
