St. Eunans College, Letterkenny, face tough test in Ranafast Cup

The U16 gaelic football side in St.Eunan's College Letterkenny face a difficult test in their Ranafast Cup quarter-final as they face St.Patrick's, Downpatrick on Wednesday.

The Co. Down college are among the favourites to go all the way in this competition with more or less the same group of players winning the Ulster 'A' competition both last year and the year previous.

St. Eunan's, managed by Colm McFadden and Chris Carr, overcame a strong Inis Eoghain side in a play-off to get to this stage with a strong second half display in Burt last week.

The Letterkenny boys should be full of confidence with players returning from injury adding to the talented team already there.

Throwin is at 11am in Garvaghy.
