The Donegal U-14s camogie team took part in the annual All-Ireland U-14 camogie blitz in Dublin on Saturday.

The competition was part of a very busy weekend for the young Donegal team who will also attend Sunday’s All-Ireland camogie finals in Croke Park. Cork and Kilkenny meet in the senior final.

The players will join with teams all across the country in a special parade on the Croke Park pitch during Sunday’s busy day of action at GAA headquarters which will also host the All-Ireland Junior and Intermediate finals.

Donegal U-14s, who are managed by St. Eunan’s clubman Joe Kealy and Aideen Quinn of Letterkenny Gaels, have also competed this season in two Ulster blitzes, in Armagh and Tyrone.

Saturday’s All-Ireland Camogie Blitz was played at the GAA Games Development Centre at Abbotstown with Donegal playing in the Michael Kennedy Cup.

They lost narrowly to eventual cup winners Mayo, while they also lost out to Westmeath before drawing with Carlow.
