Bright and breezy today, Tuesday, with sunny spells and scattered showers in Donegal.

The showers will become more widespread later and some of them could be heavy and prolonged. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty west to southwest winds.

Clear spells and scattered showers tonight, some heavy with a chance of hail. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty west to southwest winds, strong to gale force at the coast.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, will be another breezy day with sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy with a chance of hail. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty westerly winds. The winds will ease by evening and the showers will become increasingly isolated.
