Final curtain for Clannad following a tremendous 50 year career

Last night marked an historic moment for Clannad as they played their final show marking an end to an epic career which spanned across half a century. 

The band played their final gig, in Ireland, at Dublin’s 3Arena.

Singer Moya said that following the death of her brothers Noel and Leon she wanted to go “out with a bang.”

The band will play a number of further dates in Australia and America. Moya will continue her solo music career and will record with her son and daughter.
