Helicopter carrying GP and nurse to Tory Island cancelled due to weather

The HSE apologised for any inconvenience caused to those on Tory Island

A helicopter that was due to fly a nurse and a GP to Tory Island, tomorrow, Thursday, will not fly due to adverse weather conditions. 

A statement from the Health Service Executive (HSE) say it is putting interim measures in place and apologised for any inconvenience caused to those on the island.

The next scheduled flight is due to operate on December 7.
