Traffic is exceptionally busy at Caisleáin Óir in Annagry and traffic calming measures ought to be introduced, councillors have said.
Caisleáin Óir in Annagry is located at the side of a busy road. Independent Councillor Micheál Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig said cars are parked at the location 'morning, noon and night.'
He added that the premises which is en route to the airport is exceptionally busy at the weekend.
Fianna Fáil Councillor Noreen McGarvey said that children often cross the road and it measures to calm the passing traffic is important.
Sinn Féin Councillor Marie Therese Gallagher said it may be possible to move the traffic calming restrictions closer to Annagry village as motorists will have more of an opportunity to slow down.
The matter will be looked at councillors were informed.
