Rory fans from all over the world are en route to Ballyshannon for a four-day celebration of the music of the legendary blues guitarist.
The Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival takes place in the Erneside town from Thursday, May 30 to Sunday, June 2.
As well as attracting music fans in their droves, the festival is a circuit staple for renowned international acts, including American band Canned Heat.
This well established act was among the headliners at Woodstock in 1969. They have played alongside greats such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and the Who. And five decades and 40 albums later, they will take to the festival stage in Ballyshannon this Sunday evening.
Canned Heat are one of 30 acts to perform on 15 stages over the four-day festival. There will be gigs taking place in pubs and on the streets of Ballyshannon throughout the weekend.
Events get underway with the Rory Gallagher Welcome Gig in the Rory Gallagher Theatre at the Abbey Arts Centre. The concert features Zac Schulze Gang, Aiden Pryor Band, And Peter Price.
Concerts in the Festival Big Top kick off on Friday with the ever popular local man Johnny Gallagher and Boxtie followed by Albert Cummings, and Uli Jon Roth and his band.
Saturday night at the Big Top sees Pat McManus Band take to the stage, followed by Erja Lyytinen Band, and headline act Band of Friends.
As well as Canned Heat, Sunday evening will feature Netherlands act DeWolff, and Nine Below Zero.
Another treat for Rory fans is an intimate event taking place in the Abbey Arts Centre. Remembering Rory - Dave Fanning in conversation with Donal Gallagher, and My Taste of Rory with Chanele McGuinness takes place in The Rory Gallagher Theatre on Saturday, June 1 at 3pm.

The festival ticket office at Saimer Court, Main Street opens at 12 noon on Thursday for purchasing and collecting pre-booked tickets for the Big Top Concerts and festival campsite wristbands. People are advised to arrive early to avoid queues.
Those attending with campervans are advised that they must pre book online, and on arrival must check in at the campervan parking area entrance.
