The gardens of Bruckless Rest is the setting for Concert With The Greats
The historic village of Bruckless is the place to be this weekend, with Eamonn Gilliespie’s Concert With The Greats taking place in a stunning garden setting.
The afternoon concert takes place on Sunday, July 21 with drinks reception from 3pm and the concert starting at 4pm.
While the concert has sold out, anyone hoping to take advantage of last minute availability is advised to contact Bruckless Post Office to check for cancellations.
The unique and very special annual concert is a high point on the calendar for those who love top quality music acts in a beautiful setting. This year’s concert features a fantastic line-up, with Phil Coulter, Geraldine Brannigan, Patrick Feeney, The Irish Tenors, Sean Costello, Frank Naughton, and the Showband Show featuring Keith, Lorraine and Frankie McDonald.
Eamonn told Donegal Live: “This is my fifth year doing the concert, having had to take a break during Covid.
“Most of my guests are regular attendees who love coming back year after year because they have such a wonderful time.
“This year’s cast is very strong. It is going to be a magical concert.”
There will also be a raffle on the day, with cash and card donations accepted for a chance to win one of 70 fantastic prizes while supporting the Church of St Joseph and St Conal.
The setting for Concert With The Greats is the grounds of Eamonn’s beautiful home, Bruckless Rest.
“It all takes place in a marquee here in the garden, in the proximity of my house,” he said.
Indeed, Eamonn’s house is a haven for people looking for a luxurious break away from the hustle and bustle.
From a cocktail bar, luxurious bedroom and bathroom to a drawing room featuring a marble fireplace, Italian suede sofas and lush carpets, a stay in this fabulous property is an absolute treat.
Eamonn said: “The tagline is Bruckless Rest - Fine Country Living and that is exactly what people can expect. It is available exclusively for two guests and they can look forward to a wonderful experience which includes a very fine breakfast served on China.”
