Helen Hayes to speak at next Ballybofey, Stranorlar and District Historical Society

The Irish emigrant letters are part of the Imirce Project at the University of Galway

The next meeting of the Ballybofey, Stranorlar and District Historical Society next meeting will take place in the Henderson Hall (F93 XV29) Stranorlar on Monday, October 27m at 8pm.

This month's special guest is Castlefinn native Helen Hayes. Helen's talk is "A talk on Irish emigrant letters, the Imirce Project at the University of Galway, and one Donegal family whose 19th-century letters tell a powerful story of journey, success and loss across America." This promises to be a very interesting talk and is free and open to everyone.
