The Donegal New Build & Re-Build 2026 is set to bring expert advice, practical guidance and industry insight to homeowners, self-builders and renovators, with a strong focus on new builds, re-builds and sustainable living.
The event takes place over two days this weekend, from 12 noon to 5pm, on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday 8, at the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny.
One of the key attractions of this year’s event is a full afternoon of special guest speakers on Sunday.

The schedule has been designed to guide attendees through every stage of the homebuilding and renovation journey, from finance and grants to energy efficiency, interiors and renewable solutions.
Proceedings will begin at 1pm with financial advice from Sally-Ann Mulholland of AIB, who will outline funding options and key considerations for those planning to build or refurbish a home. At 1:40pm, David McLaughlin of Rebuild Energy Ireland will deliver a session on energy-saving assessments, highlighting how homeowners can improve efficiency and reduce long-term costs.
At 2.20pm, Vincent Cranley of Donegal County Council will provide an overview of vacant property grants, outlining supports available to bring derelict and unused homes back into use across the county. Interior design will take centre stage at 3pm, with Claire McDonough and Ann Blake of La Maison sharing ideas, trends and practical tips for creating functional and stylish living spaces.
Renewable energy options will be explored at 3.40pm by Christy Lynch of Efficient Renewables, who will discuss modern solutions for heating and power in both new and existing homes. The speaker programme will conclude at 4.20pm with Charles Ward TD, who will address the issue of 100 per cent redress and ongoing concerns affecting homeowners.
The Donegal Home Show 2026 will also feature a wide range of exhibitors from across the construction, interiors and home improvement sectors, offering attendees the opportunity to meet suppliers, compare options and gather trusted advice under one roof.
