Service planned in Dublin to remember the late Stephen McCahill

Affectionately known as Mr Ardara, Stephen was a central figure in his local community, co-owning the well-known Corner House bar

The Uganda Martyrs Catholic Community in Ireland has announced a memorial service to honour the life of the late Stephen McCahill next month.

The mass in his memory will take place on Sunday, March 1, providing an opportunity for the community to gather in prayer and reflection.

The service is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm and will take place at 81 Bushy Park Gardens, located at the Sisters of Peter Clever in Terenure, Dublin (D06 V6Y9). This gathering serves as a formal celebration of Stephen’s life, and his family and friends have extended a warm invitation to all who wish to pay their respects.

Organisers have requested that those planning to attend coordinate through the designated RSVP contacts. The community offers its collective hope that his soul may rest in eternal peace.

Stephen (66) was a prominent Irish businessman, community activist, and publican from Ardara, who was murdered in early January Affectionately known as Mr Ardara, he was a central figure in his local community, co-owning the well-known Corner House bar.
