The Balor Arts Centre guitar school takes place every Thursday night under the guidance of guitar tutor Seamus Curran. Studentsget the chance to show off all they’ve learned on Thursday night (February 4th) in the Balor Arts Centre Guitar School Concert.
Local actor and personality Paddy McMenamin (who you’ll remember from Conal Gallen's hit comedy A Bit On The Side) is the MC for an evening of music that includes not only the students but also the Balor House Band, led by Seamus Curran.
There are also guest appearances by local musicians and personalities including Pat McLean, Martin McColgan, Jackie Coyle and Derailed, and it’s even rumoured that Conal Gallen himself will be putting in an appearance.
It promises to be a great night of local music.
The Balor Arts Centre Guitar School Concert takes place on Thursday, February 4 at 8pm in The Balor.
Tickets are €8 for adults, €5 concession and are available from The Balor Box Office on 074 9131840 or www.balorartscentre.com
