Workers of ‘unreal’ and ‘incredible’ Fintra Bridge 'deserve credit'
Cllr Niamh Kennedy made comments at July’s Donegal Municipal District meeting
Killybegs-based Cllr Niamh Kennedy has praised the progress of the new Fintra Bridge.
Work began at the site, which has seen €12 million of investment in June 2025, and was described at an official function last year as a “significant piece of work, redefining the access roads and the bridge.”
Speaking at the July monthly meeting of the Donegal Municipal District, Cllr Kennedy said of the current works: “It is unreal what they have done.
“They reckon they will have it finished in August. I know it will obviously get slow, but the work is incredible, and they deserve credit.”
