Where are they now? The first Donegal panel to take Sam to the Hills in 1992

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the first time ever back on September 20, 1992, when Brian McEniff's team overcame Dublin on a scoreline of 0-18 to 0-14 at Croke Park

 

Declan Bonner
Bonner came between the All-Ireland U-21 crowns of 1982 and 1987 and was due to sign for Celtic in 1983, whilst sitting his Leaving Cert at Rosses Community School. First played championship for Donegal seniors in 1987, and his iconic point sealed the deal in the All-Ireland final.
Also played League of Ireland with Finn Harps and managed Donegal on two separate occasions, winning Ulster SFC titles in 2018 and 2019, having won Ulster minor and Ulster U-21 crowns. Works for Findlater Wines.
