Where are they now? Donegal’s heroes that took home the 2012 All-Ireland

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the second time in their history in 2012, when they defeated Mayo 2-11 to 0-13 in the final at Croke Park under Jim McGuinness

The Termon goalkeeper was Donegal’s first choice in the 2005 season, having made his debut whilst still a 17-year-old student at St Eunan’s College in Letterkenny. His only other championship appearances came in the 2009 season under John Joe Doherty. Having played for his club in the 2008 Donegal SFC final, Boyle was coach of Gaoth Dobhair for two seasons, including their memorable 2018 campaign, when Mervyn O’Donnell’s team were Donegal and Ulster champions. Now based in London, where he is part of the backroom team, he is a Senior Contract Manager at 3D Personnel.
