Donegal have a 12-year unbeaten league record in Ballybofey on the line against Tyrone

The last visiting team to win at MacCumhaill Park in the league was Down, back on March 13, 2010

Donegal began their unbeaten run on March 27, 2010, when they overcame Meath on a 1-12 to 0-10 scoreline, with a 20-year-old Michael Murphy scoring 1-6, while Colm McFadden put over two frees and there were also points from Michael Maguire, Kevin Cassidy, Conall Dunne and David Walsh.
Donegal went into the last Division 2 match of the campaign with a chance of promotion, only to lose heavily against Armagh in Letterkenny, 2-16 to 0-6. It was the last game under the stewardship of John Joe Doherty, who left the role as manager following a first round qualifier loss to the same opposition in Crossmaglen. (1 unbeaten)
