Donegal have a 12-year unbeaten league record in Ballybofey on the line against Tyrone

The last visiting team to win at MacCumhaill Park in the league was Down, back on March 13, 2010

2011 - Division 2
Jim McGuinness’s first league match against Sligo wasn’t the most spectacular when compared with what was to follow, but it did show some backbone from his team and gave them something to build on. With Kevin Mulhern having been sent off for two yellow cards, 14-man Donegal were 1-11 to 0-6 behind in the 47th minute. However, Donegal staged a comeback. Michael Murphy then converted a penalty at the second attempt on 54 minutes to reduce the deficit to two points. Neil McGee got in for an equalising goal and Taylor put Sligo ahead, before Stephen Griffin struck in injury-time to give Donegal a draw.
Donegal drew with Kildare in Letterkenny and Ballyshannon played host to the win over Antrim as McGuinness’s side won Division 2 beating Laois at Croke Park and would win a first Ulster SFC in 19 years. (2)
