Donegal have a 12-year unbeaten league record in Ballybofey on the line against Tyrone

The last visiting team to win at MacCumhaill Park in the league was Down, back on March 13, 2010

Wins over Laois and then Galway on the road, followed by victory over Monaghan at O’Donnell Park meant three from three for Jim McGuinness’s side. A Michael Murphy sideline ball snatched a 1-12 to 1-12 draw against Meath in the only Ballybofey fixture. Donegal got promoted, but would lost 1-16 to 1-10 against Monaghan in the Division 2 final wit Rory Kavanagh sent off. However, Donegal would beat the Farney County in the Ulster SFC final and go on to memorably defeat Dublin in the All-Ireland semi-final only to lose the final to Kerry. (8)
