Who are the pretenders for the throne of Donegal senior manager?

Malachy O'Rourke
Enjoyed a fruitful seven-year spell in charge of Monaghan, whom he guided to Ulster SFC titles in 2013 and 2015 and Division 2 success in 2014, beating Donegal on each occasion, as well as taking his native Fermanagh to the provincial final in 2008.
Recently linked with the Meath vacancy, O’Rourke won the Monaghan SFC with Tyholland in 2001, guided Loup in Derry to county and Ulster crowns in 2003 and has since won county titles with Tyrone’s Errigal Ciaran in 2006 and Cavan Gaels a year later. Won the Derry SFC with Watty Grahams last year.
