The story of The Secret of Roan Inish is told through Fiona’s eyes - Jeni Courtney - whose brother Jamie, played by Cillian Byrne, had been swept out to sea when she was at an early age. After her mother’s passing, Fiona goes to live with her Grandparents on the island of Roan Inish.
