A field of over 250 faced the starter for a most well organised event at the Lakeside, Ballyshannon for the ninth annual staging of the Streets of Ballyshannon 5k.
Beautiful weather conditions and little or no wind made for fast times. The hospitality and fare on offer at the presentation in the Lakeside Complex was of the highest order and athletes and supporters were singing the praises of all associated with the staging of this event and promising to return in 2024 for the 10th Anniversary.
This fundraising event was organised by Ballyshannon Rugby Club towards continued development of underage rugby and also as a Fundraiser for SHOUT (Sligo Hospital Unit Trust)
