Team Award: Donegal Senior Cross-Country Women
The winners are a group of women from three clubs who made up a Donegal team that took on the best in the country to land a national title. The winners of the 2021 Sports Star Team Award are the Donegal Cross-Country Women. Roisin Flanagan and Jennifer Elvin (Finn Valley AC); Letterkenny AC runners Annemarie McGlynn, Nakita Burke, Christine Russell, Natasha Adams and Niamh Kelly along with Lifford Strabane AC’s Claire McGuigan made up the team.
Donegal’s 116 points, was 10 better than Dublin on a memorable day for the County as the Letterkenny AC women took the Irish Club title for the first time in their 49-year history while Finn Valley AC girls were also crowned U-20 national champions.-1653666623898.jpg)
