Maghery Band are celebrating their 80th anniversary.

To mark the occasion, they held a dinner dance at Caislean Oir, Annagry. The entertainment was by Hard2BeatBand, as well as performances from some band members on the night.
Having originally formed in 1945, the Maghery Fife and Drum Band have won nine consecutive All-Irelands. Their recent win was achieved at the 2025 All-Ireland Fleadh in Wexford.
Founded in the small village of Maghery, the band has a rich heritage that dates back generations. Over the years, it has grown from a small local group into a national powerhouse, consistently raising the bar in performance, precision, and presentation.
