Something for everyone in our guide to what's on in Donegal this Easter

Family fun with the Easter bunny, country music events, spiritual reflection, markets and more, Donegal has it all these Easter holidays

Get Out and About

One of the many wonderful things about Donegal is that wherever you are in the county, you don’t have to travel far to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the county.

Whatever your level of fitness and mobility, there is something for everyone, including hill-walking, forest walks, fantastic public playgrounds, heritage sites, scenic drives, cycling and e-biking, boat trips, swimming, surfing, kayaking, fishing, or simply enjoying a stroll on the beach. And while Blue Flag status doesn’t apply to the Easter period, it is worth noting that many of the usual Blue Flag beaches have beach wheelchairs available year-round. A quick search of the area you wish to visit should help inform you of available services.

The website donegalbeaches.com is an excellent resource for checking tide times, live weather forecast, parking facilities, accessibility and Google Maps directions, as well as any other important information and a selection of photos for the county’s many beaches.
