Watch: Ribbon is cut on Killybegs' wonderful new public building Island House

Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Cllr Niamh Kennedy was joined by Minister of State Charlie McConalogue for the official opening of the state of the art public building

A  major regeneration project in Killybegs has reached completion with the opening of Island House and the Diamond.

Cllr Niamh Kennedy in her final week as Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council had the honour of cutting the ribbon to declare Island House open. The centre will house Killybegs Tourism Information Centre, and with viewing balconies and a range of facilities, is a wonderful addition to the town.
