The new athletics cross country season got up and running on Sunday with the Donegal even ages and masters championships at the Finn Valley Centre in Stranorlar.
The event had been originally fixed for Castlefinn, but was switched to Stranorlar during the week.
With large numers of athletes taking part, and on a beautiful day, it was another hugely successful event.
In the masters event, Letterkenny AC's Fionnuala Diver continued her recent good form by winning the ladies race.
Inishowen AC's Padraig McKinney won the men's race.
In the team section, Finn Valley AC won the ladies category, ahead of Letterkenny AC.
Finn Valley AC won the men's team event, ahead of Inishowen in second, and Letterkenny in third.
There was a host of races at underage level as well.
Next weekend, Fanad will be the venue for the Donegal novice and uneven ages championships.
The eclipse should be visible from all of Ireland until about 9:30pm
