Cahir Gormley was victorious in Pennsylvania
Cahir Gormley recorded another win in the United States at the weekend.
The Illies Golden Gloves light-middleweight overcame Andre Mendez in Dover, Pennsylvania.
It’s Gormley’s second straight win Stateside having recently defeated Demetress Wilson in Scranton.
Mendez recently fought in a final at the USA National Golden Gloves, but Gormley proved too good on the night.
Gormley was also voted as the fighter of the night.

Gormley competed recently at the National Elite Competition in Belfast, losing out in a semi-final to Eugene McKeever having stopped Darragh Gilroy in his opening bout.
