Early morning damage at Aura Centre before perpetrators take off

People were spotted in a car causing damage at Letterkenny’s Aura Centre before making off.

The incident of criminal damage incident took place in the early hours of Tuesday, August 20, at approximately 4.20am.

“Damage was caused to a window of the building by a car at that time,” Garda Grainne Doherty said. “There were at least two people on board the car at the time. They immediately left the area following the incident.

“We appeal to road users who may have travelled at Ballymacool and who may have observed a car entering or exiting the carpark of the leisure centre in the early hours of last Tuesday morning to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. If anybody travelled in the area of Ballymacool with a dash cam between 4.15am and 4.30am that morning, we ask them to please make the footage available to Gardaí.”
