Detectives in County Down probing the death of a Donegal woman have issued an appeal for information to assist their investigation.
The woman, who was found at a property in Newtownards last Friday, is understood to have been originally from Donegal.
The PSNI have now issued a public appeal for information following the death of the woman in unexplained circumstances.
Donegal Live understands that the woman, believed to have been from the Letterkenny area, had been living in Newtownards in recent times.
At around 6am on December 9, the woman, aged in her 60s, was found unconscious in a property in the Kennel Lane area of Newtownards.
She was taken to hospital, but died a short time later.
Detective Sergeant Shivers said: “We are carrying out an investigation in order to ascertain the circumstances surrounding her death and are appealing to anyone who may have any information that could assist us with our enquiries, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 284 of 09/12/22
