Kathleen Doogan, Kincasslagh

The sudden death has taken place of Kathleen Doogan (Bosco), née O Donnell, Kincasslagh.

Sadly missed by husband John, daughters Trish and Fiona, sons John Francis and Daniel, sister Margaret (Margo), brothers John, James and Daniel, grandchildren, sons in law, daughters in law and extended family, neighbours and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her residence in Kincasslagh on Saturday from 12 noon.

Funeral Mass will take place on at 11am on Monday in St Mary's Church, Kincasslagh with interment in Belcruit Cemetery. Mass can be viewed on Kincasslagh Parish Facebook page.

Una Deeney, Glenvar and Dublin

The peaceful death has taken place in Dublin of Una Deeney formerly of Carrowreagh, Glenvar.

Deeply regretted by her brother Paddy, her nephews Manus and Cathair O'Donnell, Rosgarrow, Milford her nieces Marita Mc.Devitt, Ochtore, Kerrykeel and the O'Hegarty's, Ballybofey, her sister-in-law, relatives and many friends.

Her remains will be received into St Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Glenvar on Saturday at 5.45pm to repose until the Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Monday followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Joe Sweeney, Donegal Town and Bridgetown

The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) Sweeney, Doonan, Donegal Town and formerly of Bridgetown, Laghey. He passed away peacefully, at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Madge and by his brother, Dessie. Sadly missed by his wife Bridie, his brothers Pat (Eileen), Hughie (Patricia) and Jim, his sisters, Mary (Danny) and Anne, his sister-in-law Maggie, nieces, nephews and larger family circle.

His remains are reposing at his late residence for family and close friends, only.

Removal on Sunday for 11am Funeral Mass in St Brigid’s Church, Ballintra, with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Breege Donnelly, Muff

The death has taken place of Breege Donnelly, (née Lynch). Beloved wife of Paul, loving mother of Christine, Shane and Keelan, a much-loved nana of Kyle, Cameron, Casey, Aria, Sophia and Amber, cherished daughter of Bridie and the late James Lynch and dear sister of Marie, Martina, Paul, Anthony and Vincent.

Her remains are reposing in her mother’s home, Sappagh, Muff.

Funeral from there on Sunday at 12.30 pm for 1 o’clock Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Iskaheen. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Teresa Friel, Clonmany

The death has taken place at her home of Teresa Friel, Dunaff, Urris, Clonmany.

Beloved wife of the late Dan, loving mother of Danny, Michael and Bernard, Gerald, Christy, Teresa-Ann and John. Much-loved grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law.

Her remains are reposing at her home. House private please to family and neighbours only and private on the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral from there on Sunday at 9.30am going to St Michael’s Church, Urris for Requiem Mass at 10am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/stmichael

Willie Joe McAree, Kilmacrennan

The death has taken place of Willie Joe McAree, Keenaghan, Kilmacrennan, F92 YE1V. He passed away peacefully in the gentle care of the staff in the Donegal Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by wife Margaret, he is survived by his daughters Marie Mc Keever, Letterkenny and Alison Mc Aree, Glasgow, sons Thomas, Derry and Liam, Germany, grandchildren Liam, Anna and Luke. Deeply regretted by extended family members, neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at his late residence.

Mary Flood, Buncrana

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Mary Flood, née McLaughlin, 4 Pillar Park, Buncrana and formerly of Red Row, Buncrana.

Beloved wife of the late Tony. Dear sister of Eileen, Rosie and Lizzie.

Mary’s remains will repose at her home from 1pm on Saturday. House private please from 10pm to 11am.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am in St Mary’s Chapel, Cockhill, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/cockhill

Teresa Mc Ateer, Fanad

The peaceful death has occurred of Teresa Mc Ateer (née Duffy), Lagboy, Tamney, Fanad surrounded by her loving family at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Johnny and niece Annmarie. Deeply regretted by her sons Gerard (Letterkenny) and Declan (Lagboy), sister Cecelia Gammell (Clonmel) and brother-in-law Jimmy. Sadly missed by her extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Sean Marley, Cloghan

The death has occurred at his home of former post master Sean Marley, Cloghan Beg, Cloghan, Donegal, F93 CF5H surrounded by his loving family. 

Sean is survived by his sons Joe, Tommy, Gerry, Brendan, John, Michael, Aidan and daughter Martina, his 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and his sister Annie. He is predeceased by wife Ethna.

His remains are reposing at his late residence.  Rosary will take place at 9pm. Family time from 10pm until 12 noon and on morning of the funeral.

Stephen Brennan, Mayo and Donegal

The death has taken place of Stephen Brennan, Lismirrane, Bohola, Mayo and late of Donegal.

He will always and lovingly be missed by his mother Rita, his father Declan, both his granmothers, Margaret O’Donnell, Meenahalla, Glenties, Angela Brennan, Forth Village, Kinaffe, his uncles, Gerald, Michael and Columba O’Donnell, Gerry and Aiden Brennan, his aunts Mary Pratico and Virginia Filan, his many cousins, relations and friends both in Mayo and Donegal.

Stephen will repose at his home F12HH31, on Sunday from 4pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception and St Joseph’s Church, Bohola followed by burial afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Bohola.

Henry O'Donnell, Carrickfinn and Letterkenny

The sudden death has taken place of Henry O'Donnell Carrickfinn and Glencar, Letterkenny.

Sadly missed by his mother Gerti and his sisters and his brother, also his son Christopher, daughter-in-law Aislinn and grandsons, his daughters Grainne, Roise, Siún, Laoise Saoirse and their mother Sinead, all his relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at his late home. House is private Thursday and Friday night from 10pm until 10am and also on the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Saturday in St Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Annagry, with cremation to take place at Lakelands Crematorium Cavan at a later date.

Paul Duncan, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Paul Duncan, Ballydevitt Beg, Donegal Town, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, wife Bridie, daughters Pamela and Carolyn and son Paul Gerard.

Predeceased by his parents Patsy and Nan, he will be deeply missed by his brother Hugh and sisters Mary and Kayt and his beloved grandchildren Lily and Oisín. Forever remembered by his extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Removal from his home on Saturday for 11am Funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, Killymard, Donegal Town, F94 C6T7 with interment afterwards in the local cemetery.

Pat O'Brien, Magheroarty

The peaceful death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Pat O' Brien, Magheroarty, Gortahork.

Predeceased by his wife Sadie, his is survived by his brothers Tom and John, sisters Mary and Bried, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his home in Magheroarty.

Ann Rogers, Scotland and Lettermacaward

The death has taken place of Ann Rogers (neé Cannon), Johnstone, Scotland and formerly of Farrigans, Lettermacaward.

Deeply mourned by her husband John, her son Dominick and family, Angela, Ciara and Rebecca, daughter Claire and David. Sadly missed by brothers, Tony, Michael and Colm, her sisters Mary, Dot and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and dear friends.

John Gallagher, Laghey

The death has occurred peacefully, at his residence (Leeds, UK), of John Gallagher, Laghey.

Predeceased by his sister, Mary, sadly missed by his brother Michael and family (Shannagh), his sisters, Peggy (Peter Sweeney and family, Donegal Town) and Philomena (Bobby O'Hara and family, Lagheybarr).

A funeral service has taken place in Leeds.

His remains willl travel via Pettigo on Saturday, en route to the residence of his brother, Michael, Shannagh, Laghey, reposing on Saturday and from 12 noon until 9pm on Sunday. House private on Monday morning, please.

Removal on Monday morning to St Brigid's Church, Ballintra for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Funeral Mass may be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/ballintra
