The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Catherine (Kay) Stewart, Crislamore, Burnfoot.
Predeceased by her loving husband Patsy, and her brothers Denis and John Caldwell.
Much loved mother of Sinéad and Patrick (Lisa). Loving grandmother of Conor and Niamh and dear sister of Annamarie Wilson, Jim and Joseph Caldwell.
Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her loving son, daughter, grandchildren, sister, brothers, extended family and friends.
Kay’s remains will be reposing at Murphy’s Funeral Home F93PW96 on Thursday, January 8 from 7.00pm to 9.00pm and tomorrow Friday from 11.00am – 2.00pm and 4.00pm – 9.00pm.
Removal from there on Saturday at 10.15am travelling via her late residence at Crislamore to St Mura’s Church, Fahan for Requiem Mass at 11.00am.
Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family only on the morning of the removal.

Jean Borland, Rathmullan
The peaceful death has taken place in Áras Uí Dhomhnaill Nursing Home, Milford, of Jean Borland, ‘Tigh na Bruaigh’, Red Brae, Rathmullan.
Deeply regretted by her nieces Emily, Rebecca, Susan, Eileen and Roslyn, nephew David, sister-in-law Marian, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by her brothers Harry, Robert and Alex, sister Mary and nephews Moses and Thomas.
Reposing at the residence of her niece, Emily Borland, Red Brae, Rathmullan, F92 VK53 on Thursday, January 8 from 6pm until 10pm, and on Friday from 11am until 10pm.
Funeral Service on Saturday at 2pm in Rathmullan Presbyterian Church. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family time on the morning of the funeral.

James Davenport, Quigley’s Point
The sudden but peaceful death has taken place at the home of his daughter in Lordship, Dundalk of James Davenport, Ruskey, Quigley’s Point.
Predeceased by his wife Pat and much-loved father of James, Peter, Liam, Ann Patricia and Stephen.
Devoted grandfather of Chloe (RIP), Ana, Lola, Edward, Caitlín, Evan, Emily, Darragh, Méabh, Jamie and Aaron.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sisters and brothers, Eddie, Kathleen, Martin, John, Susan and Sarah, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
James’s remains are reposing at his home (F93 A2T9) where all are welcome to pay respects.

Declan McColgan, Iskaheen and Dublin
The sudden death has taken place of Declan McColgan late of Old Court Avenue, Firhouse, Dublin and Keady, Iskaheen, Co Donegal.
Declan will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his wife Mary, his children Oisín and Lauren, and their partners Lisa and Richard, his sisters Geraldine, Eibhlin, Veronica, Carmel, Marie, Brenda, Fiona, and Caroline, his brothers and sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, his aunt Suzie, and his extended family, friends, neighbours and co-workers.
Predeceased by his parents Denis and Sadie McColgan, and his brothers Peter and Kevin.
Wake and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Jim Kenny, Donegal Town
The death has occurred of Jim Kenny, Drumstevlin, Donegal Town.
Sadly missed by his sister Mary and brother Paddy, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Jim’s remains will arrive to St Mary’s Church Killymard on Friday, January 9 for 7pm to reside over night.
Jim’s requiem Mass will be on Saturday at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Mary Conlon, Ballyshannon and Glenfin
The death has taken place of Mary Conlon, Teevogue, Bundoran Rd, Ballyshannon, Co Donegal F94 X218, formerly of Glenfin.
Mary died peacefully in her own home in the devoted care of her adoring husband Peter, and her children Kathleen (Eoin RIP), Damian (Nicola) and Maria (Ken).
She will be forever remembered in the hearts of her grandchildren Aoibheann, Michael, Dearbhla, Róise, Síofra, Manus, Enya and Donnacha. Along with her friends Anne and Martha.
Sadly missed by her siblings Bridget, Paddy, Ann, Charlie and her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Katie, and her sister Catherine.
Her family will be forever grateful for the support given daily by her carers, Dr Garvey, the Bayview Clinic and the Palliative Care team.
Mary’s generosity to her neighbours and contribution to her wider community will never be forgotten by those who met her.
Reposing at her late residence on Thursday from 1pm to 8pm.
Removal on Friday at 11:45am to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon followed by service of interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Moira Whoriskey, Derrybeg
The death has taken place at St, Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin of Moira Whoriskey, née Gallagher of Stranacorkra, Derrybeg.
Predeceased by her parents Donal and Gracie and her brother Owenie.
Sadly missed by her husband Charlie, daughters; Karen (Andrei) and Emma, sons; Neil Paul (Laura) and Stephen, sisters; Noreen, Grace and Margaret, brothers; Daniel, Henry, Paul and Sean and extended family and friends.
Her remains will repose at her home in Stranacorkra (F92 F5P3) on Thursday and on Friday from 12pm to 8pm. Rosary nightly at 8pm.

The death has taken place on November 19, 2025, of Peter Houston, who passed away peacefully in Birmingham, England.
Beloved husband of the Late Margaret (née Gillespie), loving father of Pauline, Eamon, Peter and Kieron.
Father-in-law of Brendan, Karen, Sarah and Claire-Marie.
A much loved grandfather and great-grandfather.
Beloved son of the Late George and Catherine (formerly of Roosky, Newtowncunningham, Co Donegal.)
Much loved brother of Kathleen, George, Monica, Martin and the Late Mary, Barney, Bernadette, Francie and Joe.
A much loved uncle to all his nephews and nieces.
Peter will be reposing at the Gillespie family home, Moyle, Newtowncummingham F93 PW82 on Wednesday, January 7 from 4pm until Rosary at 9pm and on Thursday 8th from 11am until Rosary at 9pm where everyone is welcome to call to pay their respects to Peter.
Funeral from there on Friday at 10.15am to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Sean O’Kane, Manorcunningham
The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Sean O’Kane, Galdonagh, Manorcunningham, Co. Donegal, F92 F6P3.
Lovingly missed by his late brother’s wife Mary, nephew John (Michelle), niece Joanne, his brothers Matt, George, Willie, Paddy, Dan, Charlie and Brian, his nieces, nephews, and all his extended family and friends.
Sean was predeceased by his parents John and Vera, and his brother Brendan. May they Rest in Peace.
Removal from Kelly’s Funeral Home, Oakfield, Raphoe, F93 KP0N, on Wednesday, January 7at 1:00 pm, going to his late residence in Galdonagh, Manorcunningham.
Sean will repose at his late residence on Wednesday from 1:30pm to 9:00pm and on Thursday from 11:00am to 9:00pm.
The funeral cortege will leave his residence on Friday at 10:20 am, proceeding to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe, for 11:00am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in St. Columba’s Church Cemetery, Drumoghill, F92 DX31.

Stephen McCahill, Ardara
The tragic death has occurred of Stephen McCahill, at his home, in Beagh, Ardara, Co. Donegal F94D1W9, on January 5.
Stephen will be greatly missed by his heartbroken family.
Forever cherished husband to Marietta, loving father to Gemma and Steven, adored father-in-law to Lauren, doting grandfather to Marykate, devoted brother and brother-in-law to Peter, Angela, Patricia (John), Desmond (Rose) and Bridie, and beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by his parents Eileen and Packie and his brother Micheal.
Stephen will be sadly missed by the wider McCahill family, his much-loved Corner House family, his large circle of friends and neighbours, and everyone who benefited from his tireless work to help the communities of South West Donegal. Stephen’s legacy lives on in the many lives he touched.
His remains will repose at his home on Thursday,January 8 from 11am to 9pm and on Friday Mornifrom 11am to 9pm.
Funeral from there on Saturday at 11.30a.m for 12 noon Requiem Mass in Church Of The Holy Family, Ardara, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
