High Standard maintained
The director of Oireachtas na Gaeilge, Liam Ó Maolaodha said that despite significant cutbacks in the communications industry the standard has remained exceptionally high. “Irish language media has greatly utilised the significant technological advancements that have been made and it is on that basis that we are offering an award for the best Irish language website,” he said.
The awards will be presented at a Gala evening in the Galway Bay Hotel in Galway on May 17, 2013. The Master of Ceremonies on the evening will be Nuacht’s Aengus Mac Grianna.
Údarás na Gaeltachta sponsors the event.
