Gardaí are renewing their appeal for information following an aggravated burglary on the home of a pensioner in Falcarragh.

The 67-year-old was beaten and badly shaken after the attack which took place on Thursdsay night last. The four men woke the pensioner from his sleep and forced him from his home before assaulting him and ransacking the house.

The four men are understood to have their faces uncovered and spoke with Donegal accents and may have fled the area in a dark coloured car. Gardaí are asking to speak to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in Falcarragh area on the Glenveagh to Letterkenny Road last Thursday night.

Anyone with information should contact Milford Garda Station on 074 9153060 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
