Congratulations to Majella O’Donnell whose memoir, It’s All in the Head, won the RTÉ Radio 1’s John Murray Show Listeners’ Choice Award at the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards 2014 in Dublin last night.
In the book, the popular singer who is married to Daniel O’Donnell chronicles her life with all its triumphs and challenges, including her courageous battle against cancer and depression.
Voting is open until midnight on December 4 at irishbookawards for the Overall Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book of the Year where Majelloa’s book is up against Brian O’Driscoll’s The Test, Graham Norton’s The Life and Loves of a He Devil and Cecilia Ahern’s The Year I Met You, and other highly-praised titles.
