Donegal County Council is urging members of the public to take extra care over the next few days due to severe weather warnings

The bridge was closed on Wednesday afternoon due to forecasted high wind gusts brought by Storm Dudley

The Harry Blaney Bridge over Mulroy Bay has been reopened to all traffic.

The bridge was closed on Wednesday afternoon due to forecasted high wind gusts brought by Storm Dudley.

Meanwhile, Donegal County Council is once again urging members of the public to take extra care over the next few days due to severe weather warnings issued by Met Éireann.

An upgraded status orange weather warning has been issued for Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo and Roscommon bringing heavy sleet and snow leading to blizzard-like conditions in parts with treacherous driving conditions.  The warning will be in place from 3am to 3pm on Friday.
