Donegal Underage League toast Galway Cup glory

Donegal Underage League after winning the Premier Section of the Galway Cup.

Donegal Underage League under-15s were celebrating on Saturday after winning the Premier Section of the Galway Cup.

A brace of goals by Brian McFadden secured a 2-1 win over Midlands Schoolboys in the final.

McFadden was also on target in a 4-0 win over Pike Rovers with Oisin Ebbs, Oisin Feeney and Tadgh O Baoill also on the mark.

In the second game, Donegal lost 2-1 to Dundal Schoolboys despite dominating the game with Aaron Kerr the scorer.

After a 0-0 draw with Clare Schoolboys, Donegal defeated Mervue United 2-0 with Evan Daly scoring twice.

Donegal Underage League player Thomas Carr was voted player of the tournament.
