The R236 road between Raphoe and Convoy has been affected.
Sections of the R236 between Raphoe and St Johnston are also carrying large amounts of surface water.
Motorists on the R264 road from Raphoe to Lifford, via Ballindrait, say that a large volume of water is proving a hindrance to drivers.
“All roads in and out of the town are showing signs of flooding,” one resident said.
Met Éireann had predicted heavy rainfall in Donegal with temperatures set to plummet overnight.
