Donegal ladies captain Roisin Rodgers
There will be a day of real celebration in the Banks tomorrow, Sunday, where the Donegal senior ladies will face off against their Tyrone counterparts.
Prior to throw-in, the Lower Rosses club will officially open its new stand. Donegal captain and Naomh Muire’s own Róisín Rodgers will carry out that honour.
The 200-seat stand was originally developed for the club’s hosting of Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta in 2023 and has since become a popular spot for spectators attending games at the venue.
There is no admission fee for the event, and parking will be available both in the main carpark and across from the grounds.
Stewards will be present to assist with traffic and parking, and attendees are kindly asked to follow their guidance.
The ribbon cutting ceremony takes place at 12.15pm while the action on the field gets going at 1pm.
The day will conclude with a senior men’s match between Naomh Muire and St Naul’s at 3pm.
