Termon defender Jamie Grant lined out at right corner-back for DCU against Queen's University
Dublin City University made it two wins from two in the Sigerson Cup with a comprehensive 3-14 to 0-5 victory over Queen's University.
Termon's Jamie Grant played from the start and Johnny McGroddy from Downings and St Eunan's Shane O'Donnell both came off the bench for Paddy Christie's side to score a point apiece. Eoin McGeehin of St Eunan's came on as a substitute for Queen's.
St Michael's Oisin Cannon, Oisin Gallen from MacCumhaill's and Ross Marley of Glenfin were all on the substitutes' bench for DCU. Galway's Rob Finnerty scored 2-3 in all, with Longford’s Keelin McGann also a goalscorer.
The win means DCU followed up their success at Donegal ATU, where they ran out 4-15 to 1-7 winners in Convoy. Queen's had produced a surprise opening round win, 1-12 to 1-11 against Ulster University.
