Ciaran Diver scored three points from play as Moville defeated Robert Emmets

Moville proved too strong for Robert Emmets as they chalked another comfortable league win in Pairc Na Carraige, on Saturday evening.

Moville 1-12 Robert Emmets 0-3

Twelve points separated the sides at the finish. Nigel McMonagle netted the game’s only goal in the first half to set the locals on their way to victory. They led eight points at half-time, 1-6 to 0-1 and had more or less had the two league points in the bag.

Kevin McColgan and Rory Dalton scored the Robert Emmets points. With two big wins from their opening two games in the league Moville are setting the early pace and is a good start to the new season for the new joint management team of Pat McLaughlin and John Quigg.
